West Australia's very own Olivia Vivian has made history becoming the first female through to the grand final of Channel Nine's reality show, Australian Ninja Warrior.
After backflipping over the warped wall earlier this month, Vivian was one of six WA Ninja's who competed in the grand final.
As the last woman left standing, Olivia splashed out of the grand final on the Rumbling Dice - an obstacle in which the contenders must hang from 22kg frames then roll them across runs to proceed to the next obstacle. After the dice slipped off the railing, Olivia was left in an impossible task and was unable to complete the run.
Olivia knows now to 'expect the unexpected' and has vowed to be back for next year's show saying " I'll make sure I don't overlook an obstacle and will prepare for everything, any circumstances."
Gymnastics WA is both proud and pleased to see the Olympian continue to follow her dreams and achieve her goals whilst encouraging young people to get active and stay fit. Congratulations to Olivia on smashing the history books and we look forward to seeing what's instore for her next.
