1. Gymnastics High Performance WAG Senior Coach

The Senior Coach is responsible for the technical direction of High Performance coaching, providing hands on mentoring, training and development of coaches within Gymnastics WA.

Required qualifications, skills and experience;
- High Performance / Gold / Level 3 Coach
- minimum of graduate level qualification or equivalent experience
- proven performance results at the national and/or international level
- experience working within high performance environments, developing high potential performers into elite performers
- Proven success at implementing program and individual performance plans to guide the development of athletes
- Experience with one to one peer level coaching with the ability to inspire others

2. Senior Development WAG Gymnastics Coach

The Senior Development Coach will be responsible for providing high quality coaching work under the technical direction as direction through Gymnastics Australia's National Performance Director and Gymnastics WA Senior Coach.

Required qualifications, skills and experience;
- Minimum of Australian Gymnastics Advanced Silver Coaching Qualification, or equivalent. (High Performance Coaching Qualification desired)
- Demonstrated experience of elite level coaching delivering at a state / National / International Level
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a holistic approach to pre-elite athlete development
- Experience with one-to-one peer level coaching, with the ability to relate well to others

Gymnastics Coach Required (Recreational Programs)

Horizon Gymnastics Club, situated in the south west region of WA are now seeking an experienced gymnastics coach to help further strengthen their recreational programs.

Reporting to the club manager , you will be responsible for the safe delivery of daily recreational gymnastics sessions as per our existing program.
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Currently hold an intermediate accreditation or higher
  • Ability to take ownership of lesson planning and programming
  • Creativity and individuality in programming and delivery
  • Excellent management, development and training skills
  • Able to work effectively with children and adapt/modify programming to suit individual needs and abilities.
  • Minimum 1 year coach experience preferred

WAG Advance Coach or Higher Needed

The Academy of Gymnastics, Butler are seeking expressions of interest for a confident WAG Advanced coach or higher qualified to join our coaching team. Having recently recruited high-performance coach Coral King, we are now looking for the right person to further enhance our strong team and take our competitive gymnasts and club to the next exciting level.

With over 700 members after our first year of opening this is a great opportunity for a coach to join us and help lead our competitive squads and further enhance your coaching career with ongoing professional development.

WAG Advanced Gymnastics Coach Position (casual)

High Flyers Trampoline and Gymnastics Academy, situated in Wangara is currently looking for a coach with an Advanced WAG Accreditation to join our growing gymnastics program.    This position will be coaching competitive group for state levels 2-3 times per week and being available for competitive or recreational groups cover on other days if required.  Our club promotes and assists with coach education and in-house training sessions. We have a brand new purpose built centre which is one of the best venues in WA.

Dependant on the successful applicant’s availability, there may be opportunity for extra hours working within our schools program and assisting with our other programs.

Essential requirements:

  • Minimum of GA Advanced Accreditation or working towards this level
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid certificate

Commencement date of this role will be discussed with the successful applicant, but would preferably be as soon a possible.  Hourly rate will be in line with the Fitness Industry Award (2010).

Vital Gymnastics are seeking to employ a Senior Coach for the purpose of coaching one of our upper level squads, coaching approx. 16 hours per week.

Key Requirements:

- Advanced Silver Australian Gymnastics accreditation

- 3-5 years Coaching at a senior Level

Preference will be given to a candidate that demonstrates the above requirements, possess excellent communication skills and a strong knowledge of the WAG level 7 to 10 curriculum. as well as being able to work within Vital Gymnastics values.

The Academy of Gymnastics in Butler is recruiting now for a Program Administration Officer

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in all aspects of GOL, competition entries, Gymnastics program databases, coach coordination, rostering, uniforms and general administration as required.  The position will also include 2/3 afternoon shifts on Reception.  Saturday mornings may also be required

Hours negotiable 30- 38 hours per week.
