Gymnastics WA Advertises for Executive Director

Reporting to the Board through the President, the Executive Director provides leadership, direction and overall management of all activities, business operations and services delivered by Gymnastics WA. The role also works with the Board in the developing and implementing of long term strategy, to achieve the organisation’s vision.

This role requires a dynamic leader with strong communication skills who is able to engage with diverse stakeholder groups and demonstrate the ability to develop and nurture key relationships within the gymnastics community, including committees, coaches, officials, volunteers and administrators at the grass root to high performance level. In addition to operational excellence the role has a focus on building participation and membership, whilst developing and maintaining partnership between stakeholder groups, commercial, funding partners and Member Clubs/Associate Members.

To be considered for this role you will have a track record in strategic leadership, staff and operational management with a focus on member services. Experience or training in finance and/or law would be beneficial for the position. You will have demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and activities at once whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail, delivering projects both on time and on budget.

An understanding of the state and national sporting landscape including high performance, and an understanding and appreciation of gymnastics will be an advantage but it is not a necessity; however you must be committed to building strong foundations for the growth of the sport in Western Australia.

Vital Gymnastics are seeking a Senior WAG Coach

The role of a Senior Coach requires the successful applicant to coach a competitive National level 6+ WAG Squad. Approx. hours 20+

Horizon Gymnastics Club seeking a Head Coach - Recreational Gymnastics

A position has become vacant for a suitably qualified gymnastics coach to lead and further strengthen our expanding recreational programs.

You will be responsible for the safe planning and delivery of daily recreational gymnastics sessions as per our existing programs which include, but are not limited to, KinderGym, General Gymnastics for all ages, Tumbling, Performance Gymnastics, FreeG and School Programs.

To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
• Currently hold an advanced accreditation or in the process of attaining
• Ability to take ownership of lesson planning and programming
• Ability to effectively mentor and enhance coaching skills for participants in our Junior Coaching program
• Creativity and individuality in programming and delivery
• A passion for and knowledge of the latest sports science techniques and recommendations for training children and adolescents
• Able to work effectively with children and adapt/modify programming to suit individual needs and abilities

The successful applicant will be rewarded with a competitive rate of pay to match their qualifications and will be considered a senior member of the Horizon Team. 20-25 hours per week are on offer with the opportunity to increase once established in the role.

As part of a dynamic club, you will be provided with opportunities to develop new and innovative gymnastics programs in line with the organisational vision. Professional development is encouraged and supported financially by the club where appropriate.

High Flyers Trampoline and Gymnastics Academy are currently seeking a MAG Coach.

High Flyers is a family run private business in the suburb of Wangara in Perth, Western Australia and employees around 45 full time, part time and casual staff. We are one of the largest gyms in WA and have a 1 year old purpose built gym as home!

We are looking for an accredited MAG coach with at least a Gymnastics Australia Advanced Accreditation to join our team. High Flyers runs the West Australian MAG High Performance Program, so you will be under the direction and care of Head coach Igor Bespalov. You must also be available to coach other classes if required such as adults. This role will be at least 30 hours per week. We can accept visa’s (we use 408 vias’s at present, or a holiday visa to start, we use an accredited agency to process) but your English must be of a high standard due to the level of athletes you will coaching.
