Competition Session Officers (formerly known as Floor Managers) - Apply Now!
In 2017, Gymnastics WA conducted an Event Review and one of the recommendations that came out of the review was to trial paid Floor Managers during the Qualification Season and at the Western Australian Gymnastics Championships in 2018. This role is now named Competition Session Officer which current volunteers can apply for, showing that they meet the selection criteria. Interviews, will then need to be conducted with the successful applicants.
All current Floor Managers who are intending on applying for this role will be required to have attended a Floor Manager & Volunteers Workshop in the past five years. This position will not be available for new Floor Managers for this year, it may be something they are eligible for in the future so do keep an eye out for up and coming workshops.
